Hey BRO(& SISTERS!), welcome to the instructions. It also includes some tips and trouble shooting hints. BASIC STARTUP 1. The StageBro comes with a microSD card already installed(remove back cover of pedal to access it.) 2. you can use either the microSD card, or a USB thumb Drive, but not both. 3. Thumb Drives have to be less then 8GB. microSD cards have to be less then 16 GB 3. The remaining instructions apply to both the microSD card Setup and Thumb drive. 4. Insert the included microSD card into the microSD card port (it contains example music I pre-loaded for demonstration) 5. Insert a listening device into the 1/8" TRS port (e.g. headphones) 6. Power up the Stage Bro by plugging in the power cord 7. The Stage bro will scan the microSD card for files and give you a message like "Files Found: 8" (this may take a few seconds) 8. If for some reason the StageBro cannot find the card or files, try reseting the StageBro. You can do a reset by holding down the "prev" and "next" at the same time until the unit display shows "reseting..." 9. After a small amount of time the Stage Bro will display "Press any Key", this means it is ready for you to start using it. LOADING YOUR PERSONAL TRACKs 7. The Stage Bro can play both MP3 & WAV. The sample tracks included on the microSD card contain a mix of file types as a demonstration 8. You can replace the sample tracks with your own tracks. This is best done on a PC (personal computer) 9. On a PC, delete all the existing tracks off the microSd card, but keep the 'MP3' Folder. You will add your own MP3 and/or WAV files to this folder. 10. On your desktop name your tracks 0001, 0002, 0003 etc... Then add them ONE-AT-A-TIME to the MP3 folder on the microSD card. The order in which you add the tracks to the USB flash drive will impact the order in which the Stage Bro will play the tracks. So the first track that you want to play should be added first, the second second, the third third etc.... 11. For Best results MP3s should be rendered @: 256KBPS, 44100 TO 192000 hz sample freq 12. For Best results WAVs should be rendered @: 16 BIT PCM, 44100 hz sample freq 13. Other render settings may work, but the settings in step 11 & 12 work for sure. For example WAVs rendered at 24 BIT PCM will not work. If the Stage Bro "plays" the file but no audio is heard, or a crackling sound is heard. this is a sign that the render settings of the MP3 or WAV file are not approriate. you can fix this by re-rendering the files to settings as described in step 11 and 12. 14. I use Reaper(with LAME 3.99.5 add-on) for creating my WAV and MP3 files with great success. It's FREE and available online for download!
